Data collection
Zweep does not collect, upload, sell or share your photos or analysis. It contains no analytics, advertising or tracking. Purchases and subscription management communicate with Apple's App Store using StoreKit.
Purchases
Apple processes payments. Zweep stores verified purchase status and daily deletion usage on this device to provide Pro access and the free allowance. We do not receive your payment details or send purchase records to our own server.
Photo library access
Photo access is used only to analyze media you authorize, show previews, remove location metadata when you explicitly request it, create compressed video copies, and delete items you explicitly confirm. Processing stays on this device.
Data stored by Zweep
Zweep stores preferences, full scan snapshots and fingerprints, Pending Deletion entries and saved-copy links, reviewed photo identifiers, lifetime cleaning totals, and temporary recovery and diagnostic records on this device. Revoking photo access clears scan, review, and widget summary data; Pending Deletion entries remain for later reconciliation. The Zweep widget receives only the latest cleanable item count, byte total, estimate status, and scan time through Apple's App Group storage—not photos, previews, filenames, or photo identifiers. Deleting the app removes these records.
Deletion and recovery
Items are deleted only after review in Pending Deletion and Apple's system confirmation. Photos keeps deleted items in Recently Deleted according to your system settings. Compressed copies are created before originals are offered for deletion.
Device information and reminders
Device storage information is displayed locally and is not sent off-device. Optional photo reminders are scheduled on this device after you enable them; alerts contain no photos, filenames or media identifiers. You can turn reminders off in Settings.
Your choices
You can grant limited photo access, change the selection in Settings, keep any suggested item, remove items from Pending Deletion, or revoke photo access at any time.
